John E. Hill, MBA, is a partner in the Healthcare Strategy Group, LLC, and has over twenty years of experience in hospital/physician relations, physician recruiting, practice management, and consulting. Prior to joining the Healthcare Strategy Group, Mr. Hill was the founder and President of Physician Services of America for sixteen years. In that capacity, Mr. Hill directly managed Physician Services of America's recruiting, planning, and consulting activities for hundreds of hospitals, physician groups, and hospital systems.

Nationally known in the field of recruiting, physician relations, practice management, and consulting, Mr. Hill has been a frequent presenter at national and regional healthcare meetings and symposiums, including The American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. David W. Miller – MHA, FACHE

David W. Miller, MHA, is a partner in the Healthcare Strategy Group, LLC, with a practice focusing on strategy development, physician alignment, business planning, medical staff development planning, and growth strategies for hospitals and physicians. Prior to joining Healthcare Strategy Group, Mr. Miller spent 15 years with Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. During his tenure he served as Chief Operating Officer of Norton Hospital, Vice President of Managed Care and Quality, Vice President of Physician Services, and Administrator of the Brown Cancer Center.

Mr. Miller has spoken frequently at meetings of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Hospital Association, and has published articles on topics such as strategic planning, brand development, and quality. Mr. Miller is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Neal D. Barker - MBA

Neal D. Barker, MBA, joined Healthcare Strategy Group in 2001. Greg Mertz – MBA, FACMPE

Greg brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to Healthcare Strategy Group. As Senior Project Manager, he will focus on performance improvement of complex physician organizations in both hospital-affiliated and private settings. He will also advise clients as to the various models of physician compensation, the business impact of industry trends, and the beneficial impact of technology adoption.

Dan J. Topp – MAA

Dan J. Topp, MAA, is a Senior Consultant with Healthcare Strategy Group, LLC, with a primary focus in physician practice management, operational improvement, and physician practice strategic planning. Mr. Topp has 20 years experience as executive director and practice administrator for both small and large group, single and multiple-site, medical and surgical practices, both employed and independent. His broad experience has placed him at the helm of all aspects of practice management, from daily operations to practice expansion and reorganization, quality improvement, implementation of an EHR, service and outreach development, revision of physician compensation plans, transitioning a large group from a PHO to a private group, and piloting a pay-for-performance effort.

Travis Ansel, MBA is the Manager of Growth and Infrastructure Development at Healthcare Strategy Group. Kathy Rhodes – MBA, CMPE

Having recently joined Healthcare Strategy Group as a Senior Consultant, Kathy brings nearly 20 years of physician practice management for PCP's as well as surgical specialists. She offers a proven track record of cost containment, A/R, HR management, EHR transition and the addition of ancillary revenue streams. Most recently, she successfully merged a group of 16, who in 2009 were awarded MGMA's "Best Practice" in the areas of patient satisfaction, A/R and Collections. Kathy's MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University holds a healthcare specialization.

Kathy holds active memberships with MGMA and ACMPE where she is a Certified Practice Management Executive and currently working toward her Fellowship. Bobby J. Morin – CVE

Robert J. Morin, Senior Consultant brings a breadth of management experience to the Healthcare Strategy Group. Over his 18 years, he has worked in for-profit and not for-profit healthcare organizations ranging from community and tertiary hospitals to a large hospital sponsored primary care group as well as a large 30-provider cardiology practice.

Martin Shehan

Martin Shehan is a Senior Consultant with Healthcare Strategy Group, LLC, with a primary focus on physician practice and physician network management. Eric Andreoli – MBA

Eric Andreoli, MBA, is a Consultant at Healthcare Strategy Group who concentrates on working with clients to develop strategic plans. His strengths involve spreadsheet modeling and simulation, which offers him the ability to provide each client with a plan that is tailored to their specific needs.

Before joining Healthcare Strategy Group, Eric received his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he graduated with honors. Robert Kahne - MPP, Research Analyst

Robert Kahne, MPP, recently joined Healthcare Strategy Group as a Research Analyst. In this capacity, he focuses on forming strategic plans that meet each client’s specific needs. Robert focuses particularly on determining the potential impacts of healthcare policy, and also performs data and statistical analysis using a variety of econometric and statistical techniques.

Matt Ullum - CPA, MBA, Senior Consultant

Matt Ullum is a Senior Consultant with Healthcare Strategy Group and brings 7 years of financial and operational experience to the company.  Mr. Ullum has accumulated a wealth of financial knowledge while working in global accounting for 4½ years and in operational and finance roles in the energy and spirits industry for nearly 2½ years.  His main focus will be on fair market value opinions, strategic planning, physician compensation plans and business development.
